Rebuilding Energy Nationwide

In October 2012, MidAmerican Energy sent more than 275 employees and contractors to the Eastern U.S. to assist with utility damage and power outages caused by Hurricane Sandy, and earned an Emergency Assistance Award from the Edison Electric Institute for its efforts.
